Competition

Take a look at the full program for this year’s Event. In addition to the well-known competitive program and the expected great catch, we highlight that this year visitors will be entertained by popular Croatian music performers – Group Magazin, Pink Panther Band, Promaya Band, and Vox Box Band.

As tradition dictates, the “Little Game” – a children’s fishing competition for kids aged 7 to 14 – will once again take place, featuring the famous Komiža fishing boats, Falkuša. There will also be the eno-gastro event “Street Sea Food Festival”, where competitors, guests, and locals will be able to enjoy free fish specialties as well as wine tastings from island winemakers and authentic local products.

This year, the program is enriched with a unique gastronomic experience – “Tuna Days in Komiža”, inspired by the sea. During this event, local restaurants will offer tuna specialties on their menus, ranging from traditional to modern interpretations.

On the occasion of the declaration of the Marine Special Reserve Rt Stupišće, a panel discussion titled “Expected Positive Outcomes of the Protection of the Marine Special Reserve Rt Stupišće” will be held on July 17 at the Biševo Visitor Centre. The event will bring together key stakeholders from the public, private, and civil sectors.
